The most anticipated accessory for the Wii is just around the corner! I actually see it peeking around. It is almost here!
The Wii Fit is here in another two days. The United States launch date is on May 21st. New York only had their launch date today at the Nintendo store. If you were lucky, you could have picked up a Wii Fit or played with it on the streets of New York. They had a whole bunch of tents set out for people to test it out!
I absolutely cannot wait for this new accessory for the Wii. Unfortunatley when I preordered it at Gamestop, I was placed on the second shipment list which is scheduled to arrive on May 23. It’ll arrive when I’m in the middle of a trip so I won’t be able to pick it up until I get home a couple days after.
I am trying to plan a way to snag one somewhere on launch day – May 21st. I’m debating Best Buy, Toys r us, Walmart, Target, or Circuit City.
I haven’t seen anything online saying if Walmart will have some in the store at midnight? I am thinking about heading out to Target early in the morning (an hour or two before it opens) to see if anyone is waiting in a line to get in to Target and then snag one there when they open. I know Best Buy and Circuit City will have lines. Will Toys r us? That was my next stop if Target was not successful. Toys r us opens at 10 a.m. so I will have some time in the morning. They are also running a promotion if you buy a Wii Fit you can get We Ski for $10 off. Not a bad deal at all!
So, I wanna hear you think! What are your plans on getting a Wii Fit on launch day? Did you already preorder? Will you be sitting outside a store? What time are you getting there?
