Just a few minutes ago, Colin released a new beta of the Viddler Wordpress Plugin. (1.1 B2 Direct Download) Many of you know, I was having issues with embedding video into my blog post from Viddler. The picture of the video was HUGE and overpowered my sidebar! Not good! Post With Video Embedding.

Anyways, I did some messing around with my CSS on the site and couldn’t find out exactly what the deal was going on with it. Viddler saved my life by releasing Beta 2 and it was one of the fixes in this new release along some new features! They even thanked me in the readme section! I was suprised! I was glad I could at least help ya!

– Fix: Video thumbnails now sized to the same size as the video.

Thanks to Colin, I now have the new beta release of Viddler Video Comments to work with the new Wordpress 2.5. Can i just say AMAZING! Colin and Viddler continue to do great work with integrating it with Wordpress.

You can record your own videos again in the comments section. Click on the little video icon and start recording again!

Now what I absolutely love is the new embedding feature via the media section in Wordpress. You can add feature video, your own video, search, and record your own video right from the media tab when creating your posts.

I’m going to give this little embed feature a try! Let’s try with iJustine’s newest video called Crazy Town!!! She does have some great dance moves! Justine, I think I need some lessons from you!

Edit: I don’t know why its blowing the video way up! I’m trying to get it figured out right now….It’s still under beta we are working on it!

Edit 4/14/08: FIXED! Visit Viddler Beta 2 Wordpress Plugin

The awesome folks over at Viddler have been busy working on a plugin for Wordpress blogs! Their new plugin allows you to record video for a comment instead of writing! I just installed it, and it is up and running great! So what do you have to do?

Click on Record or choose a video at the bottom of the comments for the post, log into Viddler, and start recording your own video comments!
